Easy-Break Head for Printed Taginn Chalk Projectile
Description
Replacement capsule head for Die_Bastelkammer's Paladin clone projectiles. Print his base at 105-106% depending on your barrel fit. it should be snug. Use regular PLA, 2 perimeters, 4 top/bottom layers, 15% or less infill. This capsule head should be printed in foaming PLA or pre-foamed PLA. Print it solid. The exterior wall should only be a single extrusion width thick. Final printed mass (total) should be around 16g. The stock Paladin projectile weighs 25g. Fill the capsule head with washable color powder like the kind they use for Holi festivals, color runs, etc. Make sure it's washable! Final weight should be ~25g. Use care fitting the capsule to the base - the fit should be snug. Any elephants foot on the ID of the capsule neck should be removed with a swiveling deburring tool to make sure you don't crush the capsule trying to install it. Only use PLA, and specifically foaming/pre-foamed where directed. PETG will take too much pressure to break, which is a danger to your fellow airsofters. It also won't biodegrade like PLA will.
