CNC Music Factory is a set of modifications to a 3018 hobby CNC to better support DIY musical instrument experimentation: https://github.com/thecowgoesmoo/CNC-music-factory This is a remix of a 4th axis design originally by ve6dbd: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4702837 A redesigned tailstock, dead end, and live end allow this 4th axis to operate within the 50 mm Z axis of the CNCMF.
