Flugelhorn (Thomann) valve guide
Description
The valve guide on my Thomann flugelhorn was either damaged or badly made so the middle valve would rotate (not ideal in a piston instrument!). I measured the old one and designed this. The original had a locating pin but it would have been difficult to print so made it with a hole instead and used a short length of 2mm steel rod. The locating nub is deliberately oversized to allow light fettling for a perfect fit. I printed it solid in ABS - didn't take long. Not sure how long it will last but since steel rod is the right size, replacing it will be quicker.
