Petanque / Boule Score Counter v.2 - Multicolor

Petanque / Boule Score Counter v.2 - Multicolor

Description

The main difference to v.1 is, that the print is done with 2 filament colors on the firt layer, so that the the text, arrows and numbers are on one layer - which looks so much nicer, I would recommend using PrusaSlicer. Cura does not provide a list of the parts. Best results are achieved with a smooth glass or steel plate. There are some things to consider, when printing multicolor on the first layer. If you have a printer which autolevels at the beginning of each print, you will run into problems, if you leave the parts where the probe comes down. It is important to move the print parts away from the center in this case. Then you would first print the numbers, deactiveate the dials. If you use skirt loops around the print, make sure they are at least 2 cm away from the print. Otherwise you forget to remove the skirt, you will have it on your dial. The better you clean the stringing and blobs now, the better your dials will be. Now you change the filament to the color of your choice for the dials. In the slicer activate the dials, deactivate all numbers slice the model and print it. This should now print the dials around the already printed numbers. I would highly propse to activate z-Hop for the first layer, to not collide with the numbers. The same procedure applies to the top part with the A,B characters and the arrows. Here you could also add aother color change at a higher layer, so that the "windows", where you can see the numbers, are highlighted. It would be interesting to see what colors you all come up with, please share your makes.
