CR-30 Y Step Calibration Tower
Description
Here is a Y Step calibration tower for a belt printer that works on the same principal as NAK3DDesigns test block for Z and X 100mm test block here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4794626 Instructions are the same as his: Calibration directions. 1. Look up and record current y-axis Steps/mm 2. Print test block 3. Measure test block and record value. 4. divide 100 by length of test block from step 3 and record value. 5. Multiply value of step1 by value of step 4. (this is your new Z-steps/mm value) 6. Enter new value from step 5 as new Z-axis steps/mm value (see note below) 7. Repeat this at least 3 times. Store values to before powering off. It is recommend to stop at a value greater than 100 like 100.03 instead of stopping at 99.97. Here is a great e-step calculator you can use to calculate your steps as well.. https://www.th3dstudio.com/estep-calculator/ Print at whatever settings you want to print at. If you are having trouble getting the part to stick to the plate, you can print with a brim.
