Sci/Fi 15mm Starship Deck Tiles
Description
I wanted some magnetic floor/deck tiles to map the interiors of Starships for a Traveller game, so I made some in Blender. I've printed 25mm “Dragon Lock” tiles for a Pathfinder game, and they look really cool, but the walls got in the way when you tried to move the characters, So for these 15mm tiles I just “hinted” at walls, and only made the tiles that had doors tall. These were FDM printed on my Ender 3 at Standard Quality 0.2 with No supports . Then painted (I'm still in the process of painting all of them... I'm going to mask and spray-paint the rest) and thin stick-on magnet sheet cut into 1/2” squares (that I ordered a pack of, on-line for about $5.00 ) was added to the underside of each tile. I bought a small sheet of metal Flashing at a Hardware Store, (I was originally going to use a steel baking sheet painted black, but the Flashing was cheaper, and it was already Black) And the 1/100th scale minis I printed with 1/2” bases can have some of the sheet magnet stuck to their bases so they don't slide around when placed on the deck tiles.
