Star shaped cookie extruder (KitchenAid meat grinder accessory)
Description
A star shaped cookie extruder accessory that works with the white KitchenAid meat grinder! Recipe for Icelandic Vanilla Wreath Cookies: 250 gr. flour 125 gr. sugar 1/8 tsp hartshorn (baker’s ammonia) 1/2 egg 1 tsp. vanilla extract 185 gr. butter Instructions: Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, then add wet ingredients and finally mix in soft (not melted!) butter. Combine well and let it sit in the fridge for at least 1 hr. before baking. Use the KitchenAid meat grinder with the cookie star attachment and extrude the dough into strips of about 10 cm. each and form a wreath. Makes about 30 cookies in total. Bake on a baking sheet at 200°C for about 10 min. or until the cookies are a light golden colour. Enjoy!
