Ender 3 V3 SE/KE Gantry Support

Ender 3 V3 SE/KE Gantry Support

Description

Ender 3 V3 SE/KE Gantry Support I realized my Gantry was slanted to the back a little bit and overall i wasn't happy with how weak it was, so i made this Support. It uses an Aluminium L-Profile on the back (30x15x2mm) of 320mm length and threaded Rods of 6mm (2x 460mm). You need to print the left and right Part and 2 times the back piece. Be careful with the top Screws M3 , they still might fit but they are so tiny, you want to have more Threads to connect otherwise its easy to over tighten them. I strongly recommend to change those 16mm ones to something longer. i used 25mm ones. The Bottom ones that connect the Gantry to the base are also very small. I changed the 14mm ones to 20mm ones. This is not strictly necessary but i had them anyway. You could use the top ones, at least they are 2mm longer. Be careful, note all Threads from Factory may have the same depth but it fits for me. If you change them or not i also suggest not to make them to tight, especially the back ones of them. Otherwise you basically force the Gantry to get slanted back. On the Side without a Z Motor i added some Washers because in there natural Position there would be a Gap otherwise. Unscrew the 2 Y Rod Screws in the back and mount the L Profile here. The Screws should be long enough. And don't measure your Angle from the Base, measure from the Build Plate.
