dnd folding surprise box
Description
This is a folding D20 die, with a surprise inside. I recommend printing with the highest detail your printer can manage with supports for the dragon only. After you are done printing, you will need to trim the pins to get the right amount of resistance. This will depend a lot on how well your printer prints the slots for the pins as well as personal preference. If you want to be able to open it easily just trim off more of the pin, but if you want to be able to role it without it opening than leave the pin intact. The pin mold is available to help you bend the pins to the right angle. To use the mold just place one end of the pin in the slot and then push the other end down to form the bend. Print the dragon and the catapult separately and then glue them in place. I really enjoyed designing this and I would love it if other people wanted to design their own. I have included a blank die, so you can build your own scenes in it, just be carful that things don’t collide when you fold it up. To help with this I also included the obstruction guide I used to help keep things from running into each other. This is just a representation of the 3D space inside of the die, but cut up and laid flat.
