Universal Raspberry Pi 30mm & 40mm Fan Mount
Description
This project includes on-board fan mounts for all models of the "standard size" Raspberry Pi without interfering with the GPIO pins or other components. Different models of the pi have pins that stick out (looking at you 3 B+ and 5) and these legs have been designed to sit over the holes, despite whatever obstacles may have been put in place on the board. The fan can be powered by plugging into the 3v3 and Ground pins. Please note, this was tested with Raspberry Pi Model 3 B, 3 B+, 4, and 5 with only a 30mm fan, but the 40mm version should work as it was based on spec dimensions. With the 30mm fan, my Raspberry Pi 5 idles at ~39°C, instead of 65°C.
