Motorized Turntable v2
Description
This is version 2 of my motorized turntable. It is controlled with MQTT. Firmware available. Functions: Continous motion clockwise/counterclockwise Stop continuous motion. Move to target Movement completed message to mqtt broker. Acceleration/deacceleration implementation (so objects dont fall). Parts: Raspberry pi zero/2W Wemos d1 mini Stepper driver: A4988 Voltage regulator: XL4015 Motor: 28BYJ-48 12v DC panel socket: 6 mm balls and grease for the bearingrace. I use airsoft pellets. Precrimped JST XH-wires and 8-pin JST XH-connectors. Firmware: Firmware for motor control (wemos d1 mini): Provided Firmware for user interface (raspberry pi zero/2w: Will provide within a day or 2. I would recommend converting the motor to bipolar and use a high input voltatge. It's very easy and will give you more torque. There are guides on youtube for this. I also recommend getting some 8-pin JST-XH connectors + precrimped wires. They will fit on the wemos and on the stepper driver.
