Spring for Marlin 55 12ga shotgun magazine
Description
A friend of mine had the spring in the magazine of a new to him shotgun break while taking it apart. A replacement was expensive and difficult to find. Between three of us we took photos and measurements, then traced the shape, extruded it and added some thickness for extra spring. Printed the part in PETG and it works really well. Shells cycle through the shotgun with no issues and it has plenty of spring power considering it only holds two shells. This was a simple print, took just over an hour. Black PETG, Ender 3 v2 Neo with a G10 bed. Pretty sure this will fit Marlin 50 and Marlin 512 as well as the 55... But cannot confirm. For the price of it I'll probably just print a handful of these for him incase the current one breaks or loses springyness over time.
