Handsome Shaving

Handsome Shaving

Description

Do you actually need micrometer level precision to obtain a very good razor? My guess is no, but the idea of supporting the blade and leave only the very end exposed is probably very effective. Therefore, inspired by the (almost) homonymous famous razor I remixed the HC razor by gvera in order to increase the blade support e reduce the blade exposure. In order to properly support the blade I believe the two side fins should be printed flat. Therefore, since that is physically impossible, I decided to split the slider in 3 parts: 2 sides and 1 top. Doing so also allows for a much higher precision in the fin shape. This of course means the head top and side will need to be glued together. If you desire to print the head in one piece I provided a file where top and side are joint together. **Known problems**: - I didn't provide any clearance between the top and the side, therefore you'll likely need to perform a little bit of sanding to properly match the two parts. You can probably use a simple nail file to do so. - The top part is definitely too thick, which makes it uncomfortable to use below the nose. I'll change that in the future. - It requires some beveling on the sides to increase comfort
