Hyuduo RF Splitter Snap Box and Cover
Description
This is a snap together box and cover for Hyuduo 100-2700 MHz RF Splitter/combiner. The box provides contact cover, dust control, mountable surface area, and air gap above the microstrip combiner/splitter circuit. Part used is sourced from Amazon: https://a.co/d/6N41qok Pack of 5 for the same part: https://a.co/d/6DhjfLO The lower/bottom part has thru holes that match the PCB. The fit is tight to prevent movement. The upper/top part has pegs that fit thru the PCB and lower part with slightly wider ends on the pegs to snap thru into recess in the lower. Align and wiggle before pressing too hard but a firm straight press is needed. Images show: 1- box top and bottom installed 2- box bottom installed on board 3- box installed with second board sitting on top 4- box built in single print with both parts (some minor stringing was lightly pulled off for cleanup) 5- slicer preview showing two walls PETG build with 0.4mm nozzle CAD file for Fusion included, and STEP marked v2. Export 3mf files marked v3 are the same source just separately visible for export. This RF splitter is useful for Amateur radio software defined radio (SDR) listening where a single antenna can be used for several SDRs to cover wider bandwidth or several antennas can be used to a single SDR. If using several antennas they need to be frequency selective as inherent filters and not overlapping otherwise a diplexer should be used instead. My use case is the first one with several SDRs tuned to different bands from the same receiving antenna; I cascade 3 of them into a 1:4 splitter.
