Tri-Gear Fidget Spinner
Description
This fidget toy is easy to print and assemble. A variety of frame designs are included. These look great with metallic, silk, and co-extrusion filaments. # Print Suggestions Use the included 3MF file or: * Print in PLA on a well-calibrated printer * Use a 0.4mm or smaller nozzle * Layer height of 0.2mm * Use a height range modifier for 0..0.2, set external perimeters first * 2-3 perimeters * Add a color change at 1mm and another at 9.4mm if desired Most frames have an inset pattern ideal for color changes at 1mm. The gears look good with two color changes. If the screws are stuck too tight, use the slicer’s XY size compensation (Print Settings > Advanced > Slicing > XY Size Compensation) with a size of -0.1mm. However the screws are designed with a fair bit of tolerance already. # Assembly Each frame has a top and bottom half, and the screws attaching them print in place. Simply print a frame set, a gear set, and assemble with the included tools or a separate Torx driver. **Don’t tighten the screws too much!** They’ll break. Just snug is plenty. If the screw threads are rough, use the included tools to clean them up.
