Ball adapter for accurate 3D aiming of bike strap-on handlebar headlight
Description
This is a very simple ball adapter that allows rotation in roll (tilt left/right) and yaw (twist left/right) of any strap-on handlebar light. If your bike handlebar is not straight, and/or the part where you intend to install your light is not aimed straight at the road, then the light mounted there will not point straight ahead. Even if your light has a twist Left/Right correction, then some of you might have another issue: those like me who have an homologated light (Sigma Aura 35 lux for me) this means that there is an horizontal cut-off in the light pattern, so as to avoid glaring the road users in front of you, which means the headlight not only needs to be pointed straight ahead, but also perfectly horizontal. So this ball allows to make the aiming of the light accurate and independant of the handlebar twist and direction. This must be printed in TPU or any other flexible material, or the opening will be too narrow to allow mounting on the handlebar Depending on the handlebar, I made 2 versions in 22mm and 1 inch which whould cover 99% of the users, if you still need a 32mm or any other diameter, just resize the 1 inch in your slicer in the X/Y directions The example pics on my handlebar are with the 1 inch version
