Lightsaber 2, Collapsible Blade, with threaded cap and Blade Retention Cap
Description
This is my second iteration of a Lightsaber with a collapsible blade. This design features a bottom cap that is threaded so the blade pieces can be removed and replaced. I also designed a blade retention cap that is friction fit. This will allow you to carry the lightsaber pointed down without the blade sliding out. You can find a blank template of the Lightsaber here if you would like to design your own: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6392916 I printed this on a Bambu Lab P1P and P1S. Notes about support settings: I used tree supports on the hilt and blocked the support on the inside of the hilt so I did not have to remove support material from the thread grooves, touching the build plate only Normal supports were used on the Hilt Cap, touching the build plate only.
