EXO TERRA LID REPLACEMENT 8X8, 12X12, & 18X18

This guide details creating a replacement Exo Terra lid using 3D printing and a glass/plexiglass panel. ----- Required Materials ----- Slicing software (PrusaSlicer or Cura recommended) PLA Filament for printing the lid frame Glass or plexiglass panel (pre-cut sizes linked below) ----- Printing Instructions ----- Download the 3D model Slice the model: Import the model into your slicer software and prepare it for printing. Set filament change: Before the ledge above the opening is printed, add a filament change layer. This allows inserting the glass/plexiglass panel. Print the lid: Start printing, and when prompted, insert the glass/plexiglass panel during the filament change.
