Electric desk remote holder.
Description
Boring context: I rearrange my bedroom 1-4 times a year and since I want to have my bed next to my desk, it can be a problem depending on which way I arrange since the bed's side fluctuates. Because of the bed location, and the fact that I don't want to drill my expensive electric desk full of holes (which already has two for the door remote), I want to situate the remote and a power strip (which is for headphones, phone, and smartwatch recharger, for which I already made a solution here *insert link when it's uploaded*) on the side my bed is on. Solution for this problem: a rudimentary clip-on system that needs only two-sided tape. Print 1 plate and 2 bases, tape the plate on the remote and two bases on opposite sides of the table and voila, now if I change the bed's side, all I need to do is unclip the remote from one side and clip it on the other. As mentioned in the context, I have also made an extremely simple system for my power strip, which is found here: *insert link, again*. The printing itself is simple. Use whatever filament you want, you can also scale it, however, I'd stray away from shrinking it, as it is already extremely small and decreasing size might mess up the ramp that locks the plate. No supports needed, just flip the base 180 and you're good to go. !!!! NOTE: the design's clip retention is based on the thickness of your tape, thicker tape means you can bend the release clip further upwards for easier detaching. If your tape is is as thin as paper, it won't work as the clip doesn't have any room to move upwards. I'm using 1mm thick tape. !!!! NOTE 2: it's the dimensions of the plates that it taped to the remote are based on mine, which is X 45.65mm and Y 45mm. As common sense usage allows, you can use this to mount other thing too, not just a remote for your desk.
