Im Not Sure If This Is A Common Problem With Apple Charging Cables, But Some Of Mine Have The Insulation Fray Closer To The Connector. They Still Work But I Worry About Using Them Like This Because I Worry That The Wires Inside May Become Strained And Stop Working. This Is My Version Of A Fix That Has Worked For Me So Far For About A Year. No Warranty Implied. Use At Your Own Risk. Etc.Etc. Im Just Sharing What Worked For Me.
