Tiller extension holder for Lightning Sailboat
Description
My brother asked me to design a holder clamp for the tiller extension of his Lightning Sailboat. He set me the sketch for the Version 1 and then I modified it slightly and designed version 2. I'm not sure if this will fit all lightning sailboat tillers so here are the details. The lower radius is 3/4". so that fits a 1.5" diameter Tiller. the upper radius is 9/16" to squeeze and hold the foam grip on the tiller extension. So 1.125" diameter The threaded hole on the underside is #10-24 tpi. The version 2 is modified as follows The upper diameter is 1.25" to less squeeze the foam grip of the tiller extension. The gap at the upper fingers is 1.125" to slightly squeeze and grip the foam grip as its slid into this holder
