Adapter Mount for Smart Orbiter V3 Extruder for Ender 3 / 5 / 5 Plus
Description
This an adapter for the Ender 5 Plus with BLTouch positioned at the right side with space for the upcoming toolboard. This is work in progress. Checkout the .step and upcoming Fusion360 files, which are maintained and for download at: https://www.printables.com/de/model/730086-adapter-mount-for-smart-orbiter-v3-extruder-for-en The duct and fan are located on the front right side in that way, that they don't disturb maintenance of the extruder gear and provides free sight to the nozzle. When I honed in the design and proved to function as intended, I'll store the Fusion 360 files as well. Meanwhile, you have to fiddle around with .step and .stl files. I printed all stuff without problems, 100% infill and slowly, to gain maximum quality. The vertical groove on the left side of the adapter plate is for inserting the cable to prevent it from being squeezed by the ribs of the heatsink. You can print the STL files in the provided orientation and with support enabled. I gain best results with easily removable supports and clean surfaces with OrcaSlicer. Give it a try!
