Bosch Rotak 32 Belt Gear Repair
Description
These replacement parts use three M4 bolts of about 14mm in length, plus nuts. Make sure the bolt heads are as flat and thin as reasonable, otherwise they might rub against the other rotating component within the lawn-mower (-the one above the blades). -Another REALLY important note: This is designed with the intention of the removal of the belt tensioner all together. (-That weird, planned-obsolescent blob of a spring, bearing, and some other plastic sh*t.) Mine broke, so I tried making a replacement out of PLA, which almost immediately broke as well, then realized it's not even a crucial element for such a cheap mower. Anyway, please remove it completely, and follow the instructions in the pictures. (-Some plastic inside the mower will have to be ground/sanded-off so that the belt doesn't rub and overheat.) For now, the pictures with text should be pretty explanatory. I hope these pieces help someone else out there! Also, yes, it was confirmed that PLA easily melts/deforms/wears-off as the gear, so please use *Nylon* for the gear component! I may update the files in the future..... Thanks! -J
