Telescope thread adapters for M12 & M16 board lenses
Description
Lens adapters that let you mount M12 and M16 lenses to astro cameras that have M42x0.75 or M28.5x0.6 female threads on them. M28.5x0.6 is the mounting thread for standard 1.25" telescope filters. M42 threads are 4mm long and M28.5 threads are 2.4mm long. The M42 adapters have 5mm, 7mm, and 10mm length options for the M12 thread since long lenses need more support and short ones won't reach focus if there's too much thread. The adapters are stackable, so you can attach extension tubes and filters with the same thread as the adapter mounts to. Use with a locking ring for best results. Be careful not to screw lenses in until they hit something, most astro cameras have an extra cover glass and some M12 lenses won't come to focus until they're closer than that cover glass. And of course, be gentle until you're sure your lens isn't cross-threaded. Turn backwards until the thread engages, then screw in.
