SnapMaker J1 plate bracket and latch
Description
Reuse of threaded brass inserts and metal retainer clip. Heat up retainer clip, press retainer clip into receiving slot with pliars. Apply Soldering iron on low heat to back of mount to flow plastic into holes of metal retainer clip within the receiving slot. Place brass inserts at larger end of insert openings, apply soldering iron pressure until insert is flush. A cresent wrench at opposite side the brass insert makes a good insert stop while letting the tip of the soldering iron pass through. I have used XYpolymer pa6 and overture easy nylon with success.
