Universal Nitro RC 1:8 air filter
Description
Here is a universal fit air filter for 1/8 nitro cars / buggies etc. This is a clone of the stock air filter that came on a Hobao Hyper 7 with a Mac Star 28 engine. You'll need air filter foam. The dimensions of the foam are 16mm internal hole, 35mm OD and with a length of 35.75mm (This is a general guide. Foam squashes so most universal foam replacements will fit.) The cap and body are connected with a M4 screw / bolt or a self tapper up to 4.5mm diameter. This may be a good option if your air filter is damaged or missing and you want to get going quickly.
