Neptune 3 Tool Holder (No Scraper)
Description
This tool holder should fit all Elegoo Neptune 3 printer models. Modeled in FreeCAD (Open Source forever!). Holds the following tools: (round measurements given in diameter) - Screwdriver (4mm shaft, 11mm handle cap) - Screwdriver (2.5mm shaft, 10mm handle cap) - Dual head wrench/spanner (25mm+ head, 20mm- head) - Single head wrench/spanner (10mm shaft, 11mm - 25mm head) - Hex Keys (4, 3.5, 3, 2, 1.5mm) - Flush cutters / nippers - Calipers (18mm * 6mm slot) I wanted a tool holder for my Elegoo Neptune 3 pro, but none of them fit exactly what I wanted. I looked for a while, and even considered modifying some of the ones I saw, but decided that it was easier to just make exactly what I needed. First off, no scraper slot! I have a magnetic bed, so no need for a scraper. Second, I wanted ALL of the tools that came with the printer to fit there. Otherwise, they would just float around the drawers of my office and shed until they got lost. Third, I keep the USB in a holder next to the microSD slot, so no need for USB slot. (If you really want, most USB sticks I have fit in the caliper slot OK). Last, I use calipers all the time when printing or designing, so I wanted a handy place to keep a cheap one on the printer. I managed to get all of that and keep a nice look. The Neptune 3 is a bit old now, but I hope it works for someone else out there! Should be easy to remix for other printers as well, just change the mounting hole locations and maybe resize the mounting plate.
