Atlas 4x4 - 100mm Front Shock Tower
Description
This is a set of shock towers for the RocHobby Atlas 4x4 to allow installation of 100mm shocks. This will keep the ride height at a manageable level by raising the shock mount 25mm above the frame. I suggest running very very light springs especially if you are running a stock truck, I'd advise running near full droop if you plan on putting this much travel on the Atlas 4x4. I suggest looking at my other projects to find the panhard and suspension spacers to go along with this upgrade, otherwise you are going to have a binding steering system. This design could be modified to install taller shocks as well but if you do want to put longer shocks be sure to get shocks with long mounts on them otherwise you will need to trim the body.
