Wet Film Applicator
Description
This is a "wet film applicator". With this tool you can put an even film of something on a flat surface. The tool is a proof of concept, to test if it will work (and it does). Currently I use this tool to create a even 0.2mm coating of powder coating* paint to a aluminum sheet. *I mixed the powder with a solution of PVA to make a paste. Usage: The paint should have a paste like consistency. Put some paint on the surface. Slide the tool over the paint, slightly pressing it down. See the pictures! (Video was not not working for upload.) The STLs are 55mm wide to fit the card format. Use the attached Freecad file to build the size and thickness you need.
