Leg Riser for Alesis Nitro Kit (and frames of 33mm of inner diameter tube legs)
Description
This leg riser is quite versatile. It can rise the frame up to 17cm and when not needed stays completely hidden inside the leg. It has 7 holes that allows to rise the frame from an initial height of 5 cm and in 2 cm steps (5,7,9,11,13,15,17). The key is designed to fit without problems inside the holes, and once inserted will stay locked in position thanks to the 2mm deep grooves on its bottom surface drawn on the imprint of the tube section. The walls are 3mm thick so the structure is solid. I made it because I usually play keeping the drums high... but my 8yrs old daughter has started to play too, and adjusting the drums height every time that she wants to sit and play is a real pain ;) The riser has a diameter of 32,2 mm since it seemed to me the best dimension to let it fit perfectly inside the frame legs. Said that, any bumps caused by the z-seams will likely need to be sanded, and further sanding may be necessary due to possible deformation of the Alesis frame legs. I'm writing that note because my Kobra prints the z-seams very badly I've printed the keys with an infill of 15%, and it seems to be quite robust. Have a nice printing :)
