USB-B port mod for MPSM

Description

Tired of the flaky microUSB port on your Monoprice Select Mini v2 3D printer? Replace it with a full-sized USB-B port for increased reliability. Requires: * 2x M4x20 bolts + nuts * 1x USB-B female connector * 0.1mm enameled wire The panel is remixed from Kevin Loughin's bed heater cable mod (from [3D printing - Correcting a design flaw in the Monoprice select mini, bed wire re-routing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7CcCGBJLgc) and http://bitchen.com/kb9rlw/bed_heater_cable_mod.zip). The included model replaces the first half of the side panel. Instructions: 1. Press fit the USB-B female connector into the bracket 2. Insert nuts into the receptacles in the bracket 3. Screw the bracket onto the printed replacement side panel 4. Open the printer side panel, and desolder the microUSB connector 5. Carefully solder enamaled wire onto the pads, and onto the USB-B connector Pinouts: Mainboard: 5V D- D+ ID GND USB-B connector: 5V D- GND D+ Leave ID floating Connect the shield to GND Once completed, you can now use a USB-B cable with your printer. Any "USB 2.0 A male to B male" should work. I use this one: [Monoprice 1.5-Feet USB 2.0 A Male to B Male 28/24AWG Cable (Gold Plated) (105436),Black](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009GUVZOK)
