1/100th (30mm) and 1/50th (15mm) Scale Sci/Fi Juan Carter

Description

I started playing the RPG “Warriors of the Red Planet”, and needed some scale minis, so I sculpted the first one. (I'll be sculpting and posting more soon) There was an interesting discussion (I think on Reddit) about whether or not people preferred 30mm or 15mm figures for gaming... Someone posted that they though both would be great, That way you had a larger mini (that you could paint with all the detail) that could be used for close-up encounters, and 15mm (that paint quicker) for tactical scale encounters. So I think I'll start sculpting both also. (Just scaling up or down doesn't quite work, it throws off the base sizes, and the smaller 1/100th minis need a lot of parts inflated so they will print) Yeah... thee are resin printed, For FDM they would have to be inflated, and thickened in Blender a lot more. How do you do that? Easy, open the .stl in Blender, then go to Sculpt Mode, find the bubble “Inflate Brush” and basically paint...well inflate almost everything, the will look terrible in Blender, but will FDM print almost OK. And set your supports really low, so you don't break the mini once printed.
