Watney Rover - Google AIY Voice Hat
Description
This is a remix of the Watney rover with a modified cover that includes extra room in the caboose for an extra raspberry pi hat. I had an Google AIY Voice Hat laying around and it has some of the components needed for the Watney rover build, specifically the microphone and speaker driver. Thought I'd share my edits assuming others might be in the same boat. This works with all the original parts so you can use the new cover even if you don't have the Voice Hat and just like the alternative design or want some extra room for cable management in the rear. Print the "watney_cover_original_mic.stl" if you are using the mic specified in the [Watney BOM](https://github.com/nikivanov/watney/blob/master/BOM.md) and not the Google AIY one. Attaching the mic and speaker to the cover was not as cleverly designed as the original, uses hot clue and not screws. But that was needed on the speaker side for the extra clearance Omni-wheels for the rover can be found here Printed on Ender 3v2 with Ender brand White PLA, Overture Black PLA and Hatchbox Grey Blue TPU 95A. Cura default settings for everything. Side note: If your raspberry pi 3a+ doesn't boot the Watney image and blinks 4 short 7 long and returning your unit is not an option: replace the start\*.elf, fixup\*.dat and bootcode.bin on the sd card after flashing with the respective files from [rpi-firmware-master](https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-firmware). At least that worked for me, YMMV.
