A&K Airsoft M60 & Mk43 Barrel Handle Replacement
Description
Replacement barrel handle for A&K (and others, I'm sure) airsoft M60's and Mk43 machineguns. The stock ones are cheese soft and bend if you cough too hard. The handgrip should be printed in 80A TPU, with the flat side facing the bed. The handle flat should be laser cut from steel, 3mm thick. For mine, I had SendCutSend cut them out of AR500 steel. These WILL NOT bend under any realistic circumstance, even if you carry the gun around by the handle. They are crazy tough. You will need to sand these to take off the mill scale, laser slag, and sharp edges prior to painting. Bond the handle to the flat after painting with 3M Marine 5200 urethane adhesive. Make sure to get it into the holes and slots before shoving it in. This is about the only adhesive worth a damn when bonding TPU to something. The fork for the handle mount is steel and pretty tough. You can file it open if the handle doesn't fit at 3mm (it's a cast part and a little wonk on tolerance) or you can sand down the interface point on the handle flat before you paint it. If you lose the screws or strip them, as the stock ones are garbage grade, they are M3.5x10mm BHCS. I couldn't find black oxide Grade 10.9 or better BHCS anywhere, so I got ended up picking up Phillips button-head screws off eBay.
