Babylon 5 Jump Gate Jump Point
Description
This is my Jump Point from my Hyperspace Model. I recommend Printing it with the short end up and with transparent Blue and Orange PETG. It makes the best Model Stand for any Babylon Ship. Also, if you print it Hollow, you can add LED lighting, which really makes the movie magic happen. Twirling LED lights that are flat work best. I've made several variants as they changed through the show. This one with a nice Glossy spray makes a true show piece. Print hollow, fast as you want and feel free to scale it for any occasion. My profile background picture is of 2 of them, one orange and one blue. Blue for exiting, and orange for entering Hyperspace. Funny thing is, with the super Gamma Ray toxic conditions outside our solar system, no human life in a ship would survive long, this is our best form of solar system to solar system travel. Had to throw some mild physics in there. So did the "Philidelphia Experiment in the 1940's actually give us better than warp speed? I believe so. Only thing is though with that method, a heck of a lot of shielding and grounding would be needed, then still tethering the crew to the ship, then the ship through to another beacon to lock on too. We all know about multi dimensional travel, its a real thing. Dimensions are layered, one on top of the other, some moving faster than others. So forget warp Drive, here you go! Good old 1940's Engineering, no FEA's, (Finenite Element Analysis, just F.A.F.O, Fudge around and find out :) Enjoy! -JH
