Parametric Radius Gauge Set (SCAD) (Remix)

Parametric Radius Gauge Set (SCAD) (Remix)

Description

Edited to improve parameter access and to allow (somewhat) improved configurability without breaking things. Improved box clearance/thickness parameterization and improved text scaling approach. Fixed gauge generation so that the parts are actually the specified length. Added basic rendering controls for convenience. Parts are crudely tiled in 2D, which might help arranging them in the slicer, though your slicer should allow you to explode an imported STL and rearrange parts as necessary. The photos of the printed set are not quite the same as the current file. I accidentally printed them at 3mm thick, which is a bit thicker than I'd intended. Feel free to use whatever thickness you want, but the file is configured for 2mm. I also didn't notice that the gauge generator module did not generate the parts at a consistent length. So while my printed gauges are all slightly different lengths, the current SCAD file will generate all gauges at the specified length. I had wanted to make this thing able to print any arbitrary series of sizes given in a vector, but to be honest, this is the point at which SCAD starts to become maddeningly cumbersome. I don't care that much about making radius gauges. If I were to write a more complicated generator, it would be a MATLAB script that generates SCAD, and nobody would ever want to deal with that sort of crap.
