Xbox One S Shell

Xbox One S Shell

Description

This is a shell for the Xbox One S which replaces the stock top shell. It's intended to look a little like the original Xbox but it's somewhere in between. The part files are broken up to be easiest to print and allow for independent painting before final assembly. Painting the separate colored parts before gluing can make a cleaner final product but assembly could be done before painting. I recommend using JB weld plastic bonder if these are printed in PETG as I did. The stock rear panel and bottom tray are reused for the final assembly. The top shell bolts to the main xbox assembly just like the original shell. Use the existing bolts to reassemble. Insert a small circle of plastic into the power switch, sanding the plastic a bit will help the power light show better. Be sure to remember to install the power switch and tray button before final assembly. (the assembled photos don't have the buttons because I forgot and had to disassemble to install) The front disc slot has small support features that need to be removed. Waiting to remove after gluing everything together helps to keep the parts aligned properly.
