Massive Ball Bearing - Near Fully 3D Printable 215mm Diameter
Description
Bill of materials: Durable 3DP Filament: https://amzn.to/3wFo7gB Silicone Lubricant: https://amzn.to/3P5pNpV M3 Screws: https://amzn.to/3SZ7rbb This is a massive, 215mm ball bearing. It is fully 3D-printed with the exception of some screws that you will need to put in to keep the ball carrier in place. The balls print really well if you raise them about 2mm off the build plate, use automatic support, and use a really small layer height (pref. 0.10mm). This will leave them with a small defect on the very bottom, which can be sanded out, or just put the bearing together and spin it enough that the defects sand themselves out. Any M3 screws should be fine, but I linked the ones I specifically used because this design uses a countersunk head, and you may want to use the exact same profile to make it fit best. Fusion 360 files are included for your convenience. Feel free to comment, email, or message me if you have any questions.
