34mm Snap Fit Trackball Mod for Azeron Cyborg

Light pressure is required to get them into place. DO NOT FORCE them or they will sink into the trackball and likely impact your ability to get them to the right place again. You want about ~.5mm-1.0mm of the bearing exposed. The optical sensor can be installed doing the following. Take the optical plastic cover and place it into the base of the trackball holder. It should fit snug. Make sure at this time you remove your film protecting the sensor from the manufacturer. Next step is to line your PMW3360 sensor over and align it to the pegs on the clear plastic cover. Screw them into place. The trackball itself when sat in this holder should feel smooth as butter. If you get a gritty feeling you have either got parts of the cup protruding into the trackball or your bearings are not equally supporting the trackball. Add hex nuts to the inside to create the ability to attach the trackball to the thumb slot of the Cyborg. Use (2) M2.5 6mm or larger screws. Watch your wiring and clip the trackball sections together making sure not to get the wiring in between the clips. Set your trackball in and test!
