Wood oven concept with intake air preheat
Description
A wood oven concept, where the incoming air is preheated by nesting the intake and exhaust pipes. ### Pros: - Preheated intake air enables a more complete combustion reducing soot production - Fresh air is blown against the door keeping the window clean for longer, reducing heating cycle related warping and less risk of injury by touching - Keeping the oven top hot enough for cooking - Cooled exhaust gasses might partially condense creating a suction force - Room heating from hot outer exhaust pipe ### Cons: - Added complexity increases manufacturing costs and weight - More complex chimney design to avoid exhaust getting sucked in by the fresh air intake pipe - Hot outer exhaust pipe requires extra care and insulation of roof/tent penetrations - Strong fresh air flow might reduce cooking opportunities on oven top - Ash might accumulate at the back of the oven increasing cleaning difficulty or opportunity for rear ash collection mechanism
