Drip tray for milk frother/foamer

Drip tray for milk frother/foamer

Description

My wife wanted a drip tray for our milk frother, which has a diameter of 135 mm. I used TPU for it, as she wanted a flexible part. Water on the TPU that I used mainly stays where it falls on the tray, because of the high surface tension of water and the properties of TPU. I don't know whether water on other FDM-materials behave the same, but I suspect it does. I first tried using a slope to get water off, but that didn't work unless I used an unreasonable high slope percentage. The downside of a slope is that you say layer endings everywhere, so I ended up with a pure horizontal drip tray surface. When there is a lot of water it eventually starts to discharge water in the kitchen sink. In the design that I printed and made photos of, the two middle ribs end with two floating parts. That has been fixed in the designs that I have uploaded here!
