6x17 and 6x12 universal viewfinder w/ frame masks
Description
I'm designing a panoramic 617 point and shoot camera that also converts to a roll film back for a 6x17 field camera. I also am going to plan around with a holga pan 612 camera. I wanted a single viewfinder that is large, bright and can work with any of my lenses for either 617 or 612 and that had a very accurate image frame So I designed a viewfinder and masks for a number of lenses for a 617 frame. I'll be following up with 612 masks at some point in the next couple of weeks if I don't decide to make a different viewfinder for those cameras entirely. The two lens elements are readily available and will cost about $70USD but the viewfinder will be worth it. Depending on the camera design the finder can use either a bolt (Housing V1) on cold foot fitting or a wide mount (v2) that requires custom threaded inserts in the camera of choice.
