Playseat Challenge pedal frame improved brackets
Description
After some years using my **Playseat Challenge** chair / foldable cockpit, the plastic bolts that secure the pedals frame in place became worn out. So I designed this clamp to replace them. It has a double inner diameter to properly grasp both poles sturdly. While the adjustment is still possible, it requires more effort as you will need a screwdriver for that. It's working quite well so far, having been heavily used for 1 week or so. **Printed with PETG, 25% infill and organic supports** as seen in the picture, just to ensure accurate dimensions. Designed for **M4x16mm** bolts and nuts (not that one shown in the picture, it was M4x30 if I remember well). <ul> <li>Remove the plastic bolts</li> <li>Detach the two parts of the frame</li> <li>Remove the original brackets</li> <li>Attach them back using the new brackets</li> <li>Adjust the distance and tighten the screw</li> </ul> Hope it proves useful in preventing the frame from suddenly coming loose mid-race :)
