NC Miata MX5 Clutch Pedal Extension

Be thoughtful about the use of this item. Loose or unfastened vehicle controls, like a clutch pedal, can be a hazard. Use at your own risk. This is a 40mm pedal extension made to work with the NC Mazda Miata clutch pedal and the Sparco 03779AN pedal plates. The design fit is tight an may need to be massaged into place. The prints clam-shell onto the pedal as seen in the photos. The halves bolt together using M3 screws. I used M3x30mm but the length was a bit overkill, just what I had on hand. I used the screws included with the Sparco Plates to attach the plates to the pedal extension. Some post processing is recommended. On the left side print, I drilled out the holes just slightly so the bolt threads would slide through. The idea is for the threads to slide through on the left print and bite into the right print. On the pedal plate screw holes, I also drilled out the holes because printing them on the side left them a bit oval shaped. Test fit each print to the pedal individually. Once you have confirmed each side can be installed, install both and make sure they fit flush before screwing them together. I have to hold mine together by hand while screwing them together. Recommend printing with something that can handle heat. I used PETG. Long term test results are unknown.
