Dewalt 6.5" Circular Saw Mount (DCS565)
Description
Wanted an easy way to mount my Dewalt 6.5" circular saw in my garage. I designed a two piece mount that the tool slides in and out of easily. Screw the two pieces into the wall with a 10" gap between them. Slide the top of the plate of the saw all the way up into top piece, rotate the bottom of the saw in between the two, and then lower it into the lower piece. You can see how it works at https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xRfUFGC8OaE The screw holes are designed assuming the bottom of the heads of the screws are flat (e.g. pan head, round head, hex washer, etc.). The screws should have shafts that fit through a 5mm diameter hole, and have a head with a diameter larger than 5mm and smaller than 10mm. (I'm making this sound complicated, but most screws for wall mounting will meet these requirements)
