we now know that putting detergent in the washing machine drawer is a waste (most of it is drained at the start of the cycle, see various demonstration videos on YouTube) and useless pollution. This ball to be inserted into the basket in the middle of the clothes distributes the detergent evenly, time/quantity, allowing it to be used correctly, saving money and pollution. The dimensions of the downloadable .stl file are for an average load of laundry (corresponding to a measuring cup recommended by detergent manufacturers). You can dose it by decreasing it in case of less laundry, or by printing the file. stl to scale based on your washing machine capacity needs or dimensions the flattenings at the poles of the two hemispheres serve to facilitate printing on the printing plate recommended material petg for greater resistance to the heat of the washing water (loss of definition but in this case it is not necessary -:) I use Pla and I have had no problems with even high temperatures (tested up to 60 degrees).
