slimeVR Frozen slimes v1 custom case - for D1 mini+tp4056+BMI160 manual soldering
Description
This is a customized frozen slimes v1 case for slimeVR FBT trackers, for use with WEMOS D1 mini, TP4056 and BMI160 The original is designed to fit a custom PCB for connecting everything Since I don't have access to PCB manufacturing services, and i don't feel like making double sided pcbs with the thermal transfer method, i remodeled it to fit individual modules into slots for connecting everything manually with wires, and also a cutout to fit a popular KCD-11 switch I have built a fully functioning 8-piece set for a friend using this model Since the case has very little internal space, wires should be as short and as thin as possible No changes made to the model other than the internal space and a switch cutout, original endcaps and battery housings will fit as usual Printing: no particular recommendations, PETG or PLA with 20-25% infill, no supports Post-printing: follow the original author's instructions linked below. Add M3 threaded inserts, solder the protection diodes and battery sense resistor, connect everything else with wires as shown in original schematics, press in the KCD-11 switch (you'll have to squeeze the springy bits with pliers, there's a tight fit). I added some hot glue to wire ends and to hold the PCBs in place. Connect the battery, slide it in the cap slot, close everything together. I hot glued the case parts together to be sure.
