Low Poly Style Chess Knight
Description
I made this for a 2022 Montgomery College student design competition. It was my first ever Solidworks model and I did it a crazy way. We were only allowed to use Solidworks, and I have an M1 Mac, so I designed the knight inside of a virtual machine that was running Solidworks. It was a nightmare. It's low poly because anything more complicated would crash. Still, I'm impressed with what I managed to design. I am especially proud of the offset octagon lofted geometric base and the horse's mane which is made of many equilateral triangles.
