Detachable Screw on Cat Ears
Description
These are some cat ears that can be screwed onto any material with a hole in it that is sufficiently big enough to fit the screw through. They can be inserted and removed without damaging the fabric (unless you had to make a hole in the fabric to put it in). In the photo, the ears have been screwed onto a crochet headband. It would also fit nicley through the spaces on chunky double crochet fabric. Since the base of the ears extend over the support that the base offers, you may see the edges of the ears come away from the fabric, depending on how thick your fabric is and how tightly you screw it on, so, I have included a support which you place onto the threaded base that gives a neater look after you screw on the ear. The base also has holes around the edge. This is to prevent the ears from rotating, if that is something you are worried about. I have not had a problem with the ears rotating, but if it is, sewing the ears in place using the holes should help. You do not need to sew through all the holes to prevent rotation, one or two should be enough. The threaded base is the sme one used for the unicorn horn (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6514072), so if you have printed out one from before, it will work with these cat ears as well. I hope you like them!
