Parametric J-Head Nozzle Holder / Nozzle Adapter

Description

Parametric J-Head Nozzle Holder / Nozzle Adapter. All my 3D printers still use the old Greg/Wade extruder with the reprap J-Head NozzleHolder and Nozzle. Since I could not source replacement parts for these old nozzleholders and nozzles anymore, I decided to design/machine my own version of this system: - increased heater block size - added M3 grub screw to lock the heater cartridge to the nozzle adapter - support E3D V6 Nozzle type Recommended materials: - nozzle holder: peek - nozzle adapter: brass Following nozzle holder types are generated, which only differ in the thread on the cold side of the nozzle holder: - NozzleHolder_M8x1.00.stl - NozzleHolder_M8x1.25.stl - NozzleHolder_imperial.stl on the hot side of the nozzle holder, I still use the imperial thread 5/16 x 24, so that the old original nozzles still can be used Remarks: - For easy machining of the nozzle adapter in my lathe, I did create "ExcentricTurningArbor3DPrinted.stl", which can be spanned into the ER40 32 mm collet Of course this machining can also be done in a 4-yaw chuck on the lathe or with a boringhead on the milling machine. (the first nozzle adapter I did machine fully on the milling machine). - The hollow M8x4.6 (1.25) grub screws I machined out of grub screws M8x10 (1.25) since I could not resource these hollow grub screws - when using nozzles with diameter 0.8 or 1.0 mm, I use a 50 Watt ceramic heater cartridge; when using the smaller nozzle sizes 0.3 or 0.5, I use the original ceramic heater cartridges
